Job Description:

Responsible for providing accounting support to accounting manager and other managers with the company. Keys daily transaction to the accounting system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, perform in the accounting department.

Core Functions:

The Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department including:

• • Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

  • Updates and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, and accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (SAP)

  • Compiles data and prepare a variety of reports.

  • Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

  • Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.

  • Investigates questionable data.

Qualifications:

• Male or Female, not more than 35 yrs old

• College graduate, preferably BS in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, Management or equivalent

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
• Preferably 1-4 yrs experience specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
